MIEDS chief executive gone Previous | Next
Jim Green, the first CEO of the Misty Isles Economic Development Society has resigned, according to a press release from the society.
"Mr. Green's expertise has been sought as a result of critical developments with the Olympic Athletes Village in Vancouver," the statement says.
Mr. Green started working for MIEDS only last July. At that point, he had a two-year half time contract.
Mr. Green is available to help MIEDS on a contract basis in the future, according to MIEDS, which also says the MIEDS board will consider its staffing requirements after strategic planning early in February.
