A 7.7 magnitude earthquake shook the islands around 8 pm Saturday evening, causing residents to take cover, and prompting an tsunami warning from the tsumani warning centre.
As we write this at 10:00 pm Saturday, there are no reports of damage, although officials have evacuated low-lying areas.
AS of Sunday morning, there were no reports of injuries and only very minor damage.
